July 29 2012: A few more additions, long and short.
An installation at Tompkins County Public Library, Ithaca, NY, by artist Ben Altman - part of Drawing on Democracy, curated by Terry Plater. The photographs are self-portraits of the artist in poses suggesting a squad of riot police, pepper-sprayed demonstrators, and a handcuffed demonstrator. Flash cards ask or answer civics questions. Pencils and stamp pads are provided for visitors to add drawings, writing, and fingerprints. Photos of additions, and their creators, invited for this blog.
